Progress Note: Received a call that patient hitched a ride to Corona. Notified dispatcher at Riverside PD and this new information relayed to team leader and social worker as well.

The police handcuffed me and I was transported back to the hospital (ETS). I felt so stupid getting caught like that. It was no wonder I was confused. Feelings of deep depression, shame and embarrassment had taken me over. I was on a roller coaster of feelings.

When I came onto the unit a familiar figure stood there with a smirk on her face.

The familiar figure: “Oh, its you.” The sarcasm wrenched me. “You’re back again.” My feelings of rage for her came back to life. It was she!

Just when things couldn’t get any worse I was in for a bad surprise.
