Thanks, Kathi! I have to say I admire your courage to have a website to help all your brothers and sisters in need. I don't mind if you use my letter to contact the Governor. I feel like I used the chain of command as they would say in the Army. I have a feeling we won't get a positive response from the Governor. I know when it comes to these people, they tend to lie and cover up things. In fact, I will not accept any more phone calls or emails from Sacramento or Los Angeles. I am careful about accusing people of things, but I smell a rat. I don't think it's my job to find out what's going on. I'll leave that up to Dr. Phil. I mailed off a ton of info to him priority mail today. I prayed about it before I did it and I simply asked God for justice. I will at least say that I am pleased that the Dept of Mental Health did look into my complaints and forwarded them to LA. After that, I think the ball dropped somewhere. I don't feel the fact that they view Ingleside as being savvy is an excuse. Do whatever it takes to catch these people. They could have had some pretend to be a patient or had a RN go undercover. In my opinion, they seem like a group of people that are too busy and they brush off things that need to be addressed. Not to say they don't care, cause in my experience, I have seen them respond quickly when patients have complained to them. At any rate, I gave them the respect of going through them first and I was not satisfied with the results. Let me know what you need from me and you got it.
