VIRGINIA LARZELERE
Illegal Search Warrant
Sgt. Gamell claims that Virginia said she had signed prescriptions in a tan file box. He lied about this on several docs as you will see below. In addition, Virginia made no mention of her valuable personal items inside this tan file box. Gamell had a hunch this box was "mysterious". His hunch played out false. This lays pattern to the conduct of the EPD of case building. They lost sight and spirit of a fair investigation. Gamell lied. The department also failed and should be held accountable since they had Virginia's taped interview in their possession for reference.

Det. Dave Gamell and Det Cheryl Osborne.

Kris: And I was gonna say we take the entire box of prescriptions and put them in, there's a little brown light tan lock box that's right behind the Xerox copier.
Gamell: Signed scripts? [meaning signed prescriptions]
Kris: No.
Virginia: No. We don't carry signed scripts according to DPR and [Det.] Booth you don't do signed scripts.
Gamell: Let me see what else I wanted to ask you. So what else is mysterious to the file cabinet besides signed scripts. Or no signed scripts. Excuse me.

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
March 8, 1991
On March 8, 1991, this writer met with Mrs. Larzelere at her residence located at 721 W. Wisconsin Ave., in DeLand, in reference to the murder of her husband, Dr. Norman B. Larzelere. During the interview, this writer informed her we had to take several items into evidence during our investigation. Mrs. Larzelere was also informed that there was a small filing cabinet that we were unable to get into because it was locked. Mrs. Larzelere knew which filing cabinet I was referring to and stated that she has alot of her valuable personal items inside, along with signed prescriptions, and that no one goes inside that cabinet but her. That's why it's locked, and she was the only one who had a key to the filing cabinet.

SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT
March 19, 1991
On March 8, 1991, Det Gamell had interviewed Virginia Larzelere reference the murder of her husband. During the course of the interview, Virginia Larzelere told Det. Gamell that in the file cabinet in the office that was locked she had a lot of her personal items inside along with signed prescriptions. Also that no one goes inside that cabinet but her. Due to the statements that the past and present employees made and the statement of Virginia Larzelere reference signed prescriptions, this detective obtained a search warrant for the file cabinet which we had already taken into custody for safe keeping. The cabinet was opened by Bob's Lock and Key Service. Inside the cabinet the prescription pads found were NOT signed. The pad's were pre-typed but not signed by anyone. Note: Four pictures were taken while the cabinet was being opened. Also the lock broke while trying to get the lock open. There were no personal items inside the cabinet as the pictures show. Case pending.
Signed Det Leo Booth & Det Sgt. Bill Benett.
