"Nothing More"

Written by Kathi Stringer

My appearance is as good as the rest,
I have commissioned tailors to keep me at my best.

I announce to all, your good name,
at a glance, the message is plain.

Only a few words that I can say,
they are my instructions from day to day.

I cannot answer all the questions asked,
So surmise they may with limited facts.

I only wish that I could add something more,
    but impossible, on open doors.

Sometimes, I see your family and friends,
always commenting on how they've been.

Often a stranger will stop and look,
but I am as mysterious as a titleless book.

It's so sad that I am their only clue,
a small granite gravestone to tell all about you.
