"Stardust"

Written by Kathi Stringer

This is our last dance,
    but not in my dreams.
We'll flow with the stars
in the twinkle of their beams.

The moon will play for us,
    the songs that we love.
Then we'll be the envy,
    of all the heavens above.

And I -- love -- you.

The voice of our fathers,
    beckons me to go.
Through mysterious trails,
    of the unknown.

Here on this earth,
    things are sometimes,
not what they seem,
So lets waltz to the music,
if only in my dreams.

We'll dance in the forest,
    gliding over the mountain streams.
And the birds will sing for us,
    the words upon the leaves.

Then the animals will run by us,
    to bid us a-dew,
'Cause this it the last waltz,
    to say good-bye,
I - love - you

The moon will play for us,
    the songs that we love.
Then we'll be the envy,
    of all the heavens above.

Stardust shimmering,
from the tips of our feet,
You and I together,
forever...., in - my - dreams....
