When we lose someone close to us because of new paths that we follow, it brings hurt. This piece is about that loss.

Just your touch,
I feel the warmth of the earth.
I am complete, without want,
    the shadows have dissipated
The essence of your eyes,
    fill me with happiness,
My heart contented,
    my soul refreshed,

But when your touch has parted,
    the moment.... so absolute....
Has scattered like a bursting star,
    which had shinned so brightly,
Now I grasp for the bits and pieces,
    fragments.... of the seconds past...
