Sciatek Industries was established in 1978 as Custom Screw Products.  Kathi Stringer, at 23 began her business with two Brown & Sharpe screw machines.

Custom Screw Products was soon a supplier for several large companies, such as Hughes Aircraft, TRW, Rockwell, Garrett and others.  Kathi had built a successful business with a reputation of producing quality parts and providing outstanding customer service.

Over the years, with the advancement of technology, Custom Screw Products restructured and diversified.  The investment in new CNC machines enabled Custom Screw Products to increase its machining capabilities and hold the tighter tolerances required by today’s industry. The company later changed its company name to Sciatek Industries to reflect their ability to remain on the cutting edge for tomorrow’s innovations.

In 1994 Cristina Cabrera came aboard to aid the technological advancement of Sciatek Industries.  Previously, she taught organizational and intercultural communication classes at a local university. Her leadership, communication, business and public relations skills have provided a solid platform for growth.
